Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe BTLA monoclonal antibody reacts with human B and T lymphocyte attenuator (BTLA). BTLA is expressed by peripheral lymphocytes, splenic macrophages, developing B cells in the bone marrow and developing T cells in the thymus and mature, but not immature bone marrow-derived dendritic cells. BTLA is implicated as a negative regulator of the activation and/or function of various hemopoietic cell types. It is reported that BTLA binds to B7-H4, but further studies are needed to confirm this interaction. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This MIH26 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications TestedThis MIH26 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood. Please refer to the antibody vial for the recommended test volume to use for one million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. Note: Due to poor stability, the PE format of clone MIH26 is being discontinued, and the current lot is only guaranteed until October 1, 2009.
