Description


This goat antibody reacts with the Fc fragment of heavy chains on human IgG but not with the light chains on most human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against human IgM or IgA, or against nonimmunoglobulin serum proteins. This antibody has been tested to ensure minimal cross-reaction with bovine, horse, and mouse serum proteins, but the antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.


Applications Reported


For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. PE goat anti-Human IgG (Fcγ Fragment Specific) has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.


Applications Tested


PE goat anti-Human IgG (Fcγ Fragment Specific) has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect purified human Fcγ-tagged recombinant proteins. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
