Description

The monoclonal rat IgG1, κ is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This rat IgG1 isotype control has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

The PE rat IgG1 isotype control is offered in 2 formats:

- µg size: has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspensions and can be used at less than or equal to 1 µg/million cells. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

- test size: has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes and can be used at 20 µl per million cells (100 µl blood). The pre-titrated test size contains 0.2% BSA.
