Description
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains on Armenian hamster IgG and with the light chains common to most Armenian hamster immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This antibody has been tested by ELISA and/or solid-phase adsorbed to ensure minimal cross-reaction with bovine, human, mouse, rabbit, and rat serum proteins, but the antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. PE anti-Armenian Hamster IgG has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
PE anti-Armenian Hamster IgG has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect purified hamster monoclonal antibodies. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
