Description

CD305 or Leukocyte-associated Ig-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1) is a 46 kD cell surface molecule that functions as an inhibitory collagen-receptor on the majority of cells of the immune system. The mouse LAIR-1 molecule is expressed primarily on monocytes/macrophages and also on T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells. Unlike human B cells , mouse B cells do not express LAIR-1. The cytoplasmic tail of mouse LAIR-1 can be phosphorylated leading to the recruitment of SH2-containing tyrosine phosphatase(SHP)-2 and C-terminal Src kinase.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This 113 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

This 113 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
