Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe 2C9.G3 (HMb3-1) monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD61, also known as the integrin β3. CD61 is expressed by activated T cells, granulocytes, and platelet. CD61 associates non-covalently with two integrin α subunits; αV (CD51) to form Vitronectin Receptor and αIib (CD41) to form gpIIb/IIIa. These heterodimeric complexes are responsible for adhesion to extracellular matrix components including fibrinogen, fibronectin, fibronectin, vitronectin, thrombospondin and von Willebrand factor. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The 2C9.G3 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications TestedThe 2C9.G3 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte and bone marrow cell suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
