Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe HIS24 monoclonal antibody reacts with an isoform of CD45 expressed by rat B cells. The antigen recognized by HIS24 is found on B cells from the early stage of B cell development in the bone marrow to mature peripheral B cells, but not on plasma cells. HIS24 recognizes a 205 kDa protein by immunoblotting. CD45, also known as Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA), has tyrosine phosphatase enzymatic activity in its cytoplasmic portion and plays an important role in activation of lymphocytes. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The HIS24 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications TestedThis HIS24 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
