Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were stimulated with PMA and ionomycin in the presence of Brefeldin A for 5 hours. (Left) The cells were surface stained with PE anti-human CD3 (UCHT1) and intracellularly stained with FITC anti-human IL-2 (MQ1-17H12). (Right) The cells were surface stained with FITC anti-human CD3 and intracellularly stained with PE anti-human IL-2.

Description
The MQ1-17H12 antibody reacts with human interleukin-2 (IL-2), a 17 kDa T cell growth factor and a major immunoregulatory cytokine. The MQ1-17H12 antibody is a non-neutralizing antibody.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. MQ1-17H12 has been reported for use in intracellular flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
The FITC conjugated MQ1-17H12 is offered in 2 formats:
- µg size: has been tested by intracellular flow cytometric analysis of activated human PBMC. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
- test size: has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular flow cytometric analysis of activated human PBMC and can be used at 20 μl (0.5μg) per million cells (100 μl blood). The pre-titrated test size contains 0.2% BSA.
