Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with PE anti-human CD56 (MEM188) (cat. 12-0569) and 0.5 μg of FITC Mouse IgG1, K Iso Cntrl (cat. 11-4714) (left) or 0.5 μg of FITC anti-human CD244 (eBioDM244) (right). Total viable cells were used for analysis.

Description
The eBioDM244 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD244 (2B4, p38). In human, CD244 is a 38 kDa protein expressed on NK cells, a subset of CD8+ T cells, γδ T cells, monocytes, basophils and eosinophils. Binding of the CD244 ligand, CD48, results in NK cell activation, unlike mouse CD244, which is an inhibitory receptor.

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This eBioDM244 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
This eBioDM244 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood. This can be used at 20 μl (0.06 μg) per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume.
