Description

The 3B2/TA8 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD99, also known as E2 antigen and MIC2. CD99 is an approximately 32 kDa sialoglycoprotein and is expressed by all leukocytes. CD99 is involved in T cell adhesion and activation.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The 3B2/TA8 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

This 3B2/TA8 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 5 μl (1 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
