Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe OX35 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD4. CD4 is a co-receptor which participates in signaling through the T cell receptor by making contacts with MHC class II expressed on antigen-presenting cells (APC). CD4 is expressed in the thymus by CD4+CD8+ "double-positive" and CD4+ "single-positive" thymocytes, and by CD4+ "helper" T cells in the periphery. CD4 is a cell-surface membrane glycoprotein which contains four extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This OX35 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications TestedThis OX35 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
