Description

The streptavidin fluorochrome conjugates are commonly used in indirect staining protocols to detect biotinylated primary antibodies in flow cytometry. Streptavidin binds to biotin with high affinity.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this vial from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with this conjugated antibody, always cover the samples with aluminum foil. This tandem dye, composed of Cy7 coupled to APC, excites at 630- 640 nm and emits its fluorescence at ~776 nm.

This product is guaranteed for 6 months upon receipt when stored properly.

Applications Tested

This lot of SAV-APC-Cy7 has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect biotinylated primary antibodies and can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 μg/million cells. It is recommended that this reagent be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
