Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe Human Cytokine IC Control Cells are human peripheral blood mononuclear cells which have been activated in vitro and subsequently fixed using paraformaldehyde. These cells are recommended as positive control cells when establishing the intracellular cytokine staining protocol. Cells expressing IL-2, IL-4, IL-13, IFN-γ, and GM-CSF can be detected. The cells are in a special stabilizing buffer and can be stored at -80°C for up to 6 months or at 4°C for up to a month. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. These cells have already been fixed with eBioscience IC Fixation Buffer (Cat. No. 00-8222) and need to be permeabilized before the addition of fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies. For each test, take 100 µl of the positive control cells and start the Intracellular Cytokine Staining Protocol at step 4 (i.e., washing with eBioscience Permeabilization Buffer, Cat. No. 00-8333). For Intracellular Cytokine Staining Protocol, see: http://www.ebioscience.com/ebioscience/appls/FCI.htm.
