eFluor® Nanocrystal Conjugation Kits Simplify Biomolecule Conjugations to Nanocrystals
July 13, 2011 - eBioscience introduces two novel types of eFluor® Nanocrystal (NC) conjugation kits that swiftly facilitate the use of cutting-edge NC technology in research, and usher in the next age of NC’s in biology. These new kits are offered with different NC emission wavelengths for conjugation to a biological molecule using streamlined protocols. A recent publication in the June 21st issue of ACSNano, “Reactive Semiconductor Nanocrystals for Chemoselective Biolabeling and Multiplexed Analysis”, presents this new technology in detail while demonstrating performance of these conjugates in a multitude of relevant applications, including direct labeling of cellular membranes, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, cellular delivery, and fluorescence-based immunoassays.
eBioscience has combined its expertise in the manufacture of fluorophore-conjugated monoclonal antibodies to offer a full spectrum of eFluor® Nanocrystal-conjugated antibodies. eFluor® Nanocrystal conjugates differ from conventional dyes by providing narrow emission spectra, broad excitation spectra, exceptional photostability, and increased multiplexing capability in various assay or cell-staining applications. The availability of eFluor NC Conjugation Kits now allows researchers to utilize optimized conjugation chemistry in simple kits for conjugating NC’s to your own biomolecule of interest.
